I originally put this article out two years ago, on the old blog platform. It was a response to a video put out on the web site ‘climate nexus’.
I continue to subscribe to climate nexus. It is the best existing source of accurate information against the ‘climate’ dogma being rammed down everyone’s throat. Alas, it is another example of people who have expertise in a topic and are reliable on it, but step outside their area of knowledge and go stupid.
The big hole in Mister Climate Nexus’s coverage of the depopulation agenda which is what the “climate emergency” is about, is his understanding of where it really comes from. He thinks it is all something thought up by the Chinese Communist Party to get western capitalism to destroy itself. At the end of the video he admits to being a ferocious anti communist.
You may find this masterpiece of propagandic art here. It has not stood the test of time well. It is becoming clearer all the time that the climate depopulation agenda is coming from the financialist wing of the western Atlanticist oligarchy.
It is clear that Robson comes basically from the other wing of the said oligarchy, the industrial capitalists. These are the people who think we can have infinite expansion in a finite world, as though our resources are infinite. These people really hate China because they are unable to compete with it.
Western capitalists are the only people who could see Chinese investment into the underdeveloped countries as part of a nefarious plan. Only the really dogmatic capitalists could see China as a threat at all. It is a threat to their special interests and ideology, not to normal people in western countries.
I do not like the word ‘communist’. But I am a big proponent of economies organized to meet human needs, not the maximization of profits for an elite. I am a fan of the Chinese political and economic system.
That does not mean I think it is ideal, or some kind of ‘end of history’. There are problems with it, as with any political system. Yet it is inarguably the most competent government of any significant nation in the world right now.
I have written a few panda hugger type blog pieces on this theme. I am about to write a series of them, going into the historic relations between the world’s civilizational centres their effects on technological progress.
To do this I have reviewed these earlier writings. I find this piece should serve as a prologue into this topic. It needed to be revised and pared down a bit.

Mister climate calls his video “The Red Green Menace”. I say the big menace right now is the “Gold/Purple” one. We have an elite in the west that has long hoarded most of the gold, and are turning purple at the idea the Chinese are taking it away from them.
It is sad that the people who tend to give good information about the ‘climate’ nonsense tend also to be aligned with the nationalist/industrialist faction of the oligarchy. These people used to like China because it gave them a way to get their manufacturing done cheaply abroad so they can keep making high profits by selling the stuff back home. But as the Chinese gain the technological edge over the west, there is a split among the industrialists, with part becoming hostile to China.
The industrialists oppose the financial/globalist faction of the oligarchy who make their money off just owning what people need in order to live and to run businesses. These have lately been called techno-feudalists. Yet as they are losing their technical edge to Chine, they are getting less tech and more feudal.
The financialists have also had a love/hate relation with the Chinese, but it has been more hate, less love. The ‘Red’ Chinese have been increasingly disrupting their system of control over the world’s economy. With Chinese help, countries are able to develop their economies using their own credit and currency rather than the Globalists ‘investment’.
Both factions of the western oligarchy thought they had a cunning strategy for gradually absorbing China into their system. In recent years they have discovered that the Chinese are absorbing them. Their rage is intense but they are having trouble finding ways to bring China back into line without severely damaging themselves.
———-
Now the anti China campaign is becoming intense and complex. There are new divisions within the western imperialist oligarchy which seem to partly across the old industrialists/financialists split. One faction wants to get along with China and recognizes that China’s system is working, the west’s is failing.
One faction wants to try to isolate and suffocate China. One wants a war. It is the latter that is concerning.
People today seem to have forgotten what a nuclear war would mean. Even a small one would cause climate destruction greater than the most hysterical fantasies of the ‘extinction rebellion’ crowd.
A war with China would draw in Russia. It will be a world war which would likely turn into a nuclear war. At the least it would be hugely destructive, with economic effects setting us back generations. China has a relatively small nuclear force, but it still enough to destroy the United States.
What seems to irritate mister red green is the first faction of the global oligarchy, which wants to be friends with the panda. They recognize China as a better system which could be emulated in the west. However, many elements of the Chinese system will cause people indoctrinated for ‘free enterprise’ and libertarianism to jam some gears between their ears.
If you do not agree that conflicts between nuclear powers be avoided, there is not much point to dealing with you. Historically, one of the best ways to bring about peace between nations is trade between them. The main cause of wars is imperialism; subjugating people so as to extract wealth from them.
Isolating China will no longer be possible either. Whether the authors of the “Red Green Menace” like it or not, the Chinese century is coming on. By 2025, China’s “Made in China” program will be complete and they will have superiority in all key areas of technology.
Mister Red Green Menace admits that it seems too late to stop the Chinese drive to world domination. He is right. But it is not because of some secret plan the Chinese Communist party conspired in with some environmental fanatics in the west.
It is because their system is working. Western Capitalism is failing.

The big hole in the Climate Discussion Nexus’s often brilliant demolition of ‘Climate’ is it does not identify where it all really comes from. It has been the pet project of the globalist/financialist elite for a long time. These are the people who have driven imperialism since the seventeenth century.
These are also the people who talk about the need to reduce the earth’s population. They are responsible for the famous ‘guidestones’ proclaiming that the earth’s population “shall be maintained” at half a billion. They want the earth’s resources for themselves alone.
They are afraid of a rival emerging to challenge their dominance of the earth. So you can see how the rise of China rains on their parade. You should also be able to see why the idea that the climate change/depopulation agenda comes from China is so loopy.
The problem with Robson is that he is incapable of criticizing capitalism in any form, or of accepting the idea of socialism. He is of a generation which was conditioned to start foaming at the mouth and raving about “Reds” whenever he hears the word ‘socialism’. He sees no difference between that and communism which to him is about Stalinism.
He was also exposed at an impressionable age to the lovely bit of Libertarian Amphiboly; “government is the problem, not the solution.” It would be foolish to try to take on every one of the propaganda tropes he uses. They have all been made to go ‘poof’ a thousand times already but as propaganda campaigns do, they just keep on going.
This Red Green idea could come only from hard core industrial capitalists who see anything not serving their interests as communist. The new Chinese way of doing socialism is a menace to them because they cannot compete with it. Of course the deindustrialization agenda is a huge threat to them.
Thus most of the ever more ferocious left versus right political conflict in the west is really between the industrial and financialist capitalists. That is, between those who want the human herd increased indefinitely, and those whose interest is in culling us. So the industrialists have been leading the fight against ‘climate’, but with wrong and bad motives.
————————-
I suspect that one of the biggest problems in getting people to more aggressively challenge the ‘climate’ narrative is that those leading the opposition to it are shown to have agendas of their own. These agendas are just as dangerous to normal people as that of the globalist climateers.
So, the valid opposition to ‘climate’ must come from the real left, of which I consider myself part of. We are the people who understand what socialism actually is. We are not part of the fake socialists set up by finance capitalism to promote depopulation and aggressive war.
However, the more intelligent capitalists seem to realize that old fashioned capitalism is finished. They are adapting to the new realities. They have come to accept that the world will be a better place when the Chinese are the dominant power.
This is not to say that the sun rises and sets in China. There are still problems with their way of doing things. But that is for them to sort out.
The biggest whopper told by the anti China campaign is that they want to rule the world. This is narcissistic transposition on a global scale. It is the western powers which have been trying to rule the world for about five centuries.
In fact, it seems that much of the world would like the Chinese to rule them but the Chinese do not want to fall into that trap. The Chinese historically have had a different approach. They did not go out conquering other people but sat in their ‘middle kingdom’ and let the world come to them.
————-
Do not construe from this that I think the ‘intelligent capitalists’ will suddenly adopt the Chinese system and we will all have perfect socialism. The old style capitalists are very much still in control and will not go down without a fight. We are in for a very turbulent transition.
Mister climate will generally be pretty good at explaining climate issues. He will likely remain very confused about the political and economic realities. They are outside his competence.
